Die R6: Variety: Retrograde inscription (Type 1)

Connected to O1

a) Before the die break:

b) During the die break (very sudden, not progressive at all):

c) After the die break:

The reverse of the following coin has been ONLY struck by the right part of the broken die!

NOTE: I am not sure it was deliberate. Because the workers struck coins hurriedly, they probably did not immediately remark that the die had just been broken (see previous coin) and that the left part of the broken die (probably) fell. But I am pretty sure that the following coin is the last specimen ever struck by this pair of dies (the portrait on the obverse die - O1 - was ruined anyway)

Another specimen is known with a strike error:

....

...Die R7: Variety: Very crude

Connected to O1

Die R9: Retrograde and crude  inscription

..

Dies R12 to R18: Each of the following specimens seems to have been struck by a different die
